This listing is for a Walking Stick Broom. These brooms are about 42 inches tall and have a cane tip, so they are not meant for sweeping. They can be decorative and displayed. Or the rubber cane tip allows them to be used like a hiking stick or cane. I take mine out on full moon walks and wait for messages meant for me for the next moon cycle. They make a magickal companion for any foray into nature. Bana Yaga brooms are adorned with Yooperlite beads and Kallaite Skulls. Everything is intuitively created so no two brooms are the same.
🐓💀🔥 Baba Yaga- she’s an intimidating, cranky, high-performing witch. With her impossible tasks and her fence posts of glowing skulls she reminds us that many things worth having don’t come easily, ad there is absolutely nothing wrong with setting boundaries that are loud and clear
I think of how she is a powerful reminder of DISCERNMENT. Of “cutting through the chaff” and not being swayed or distracted by fluff. She rewards the worthy but equally gifts justice to those who deserve to learn hard lessons.
I also think about how she is a bad-tempered old hag who likes to be left alone in her forest and I think to myself…
In your practice?
🐓Initiation rituals — entering a new phase of life, shedding an old identity
💀Shadow work — facing what you’ve been avoiding
🔥Setting fierce boundaries — she’s a good ally when you need to stop people-pleasing
🐓Death/rebirth workings — endings that need to happen before something new can grow
💀Seeking hard-won wisdom — she rewards effort and honesty, not flattery
Why I love her so much:
🔥She has no patience for false sweetness — come to her direct, plain-spoken, and willing to do the work she sets you.
