🩶❤️🤍Cranes have a long and robust presence in folklore and mythology around the world. I love their harsh rattling cries, they remind me of late summer and fall.

Crane associations from Asia to Africa include intelligence, longevity, love, endurance, loyalty, and guides to the afterlife.

At 4 feet tall and with a wingspan of 6.5-7 feet they can fly over 200-300 miles per day during migration.

Cranes mate for life and reinforce their bond with elaborate dancing rituals.

This whisk was crafted with the following correspondences in mind:

🩶 Endurance and Resilience- cranes have long migrations and at their large size, they must have vast reserves of strength and will to complete this task two times each year.

❤️ Partnership, Loyalty, and Love- cranes often mate for life and both parents are devoted nurturers and caretakers. They are also very aggressive in defense of their young!

🤍 Good fortune and abundance- Cranes are often found foraging in grain fields in late summer and fall. In the winters they continue to find seeds and insects in the fallow fields of agricultural lands and wetlands. Their association with the harvest brings the energy of abundance and reward for efforts made earlier in the seasonal cycle.
