The Witches New Year is almost here. It’s a time to celebrate the culmination of the Harvest and prepare for the darker months. It’s a time to reflect, rest, and plan for the next year’s plantings.

During Samhain the boundary between the living and the dead is at its thinnest, making it a prime time for divination, spirit communication, and ancestor work.

Many of you may set up an ancestor altar with photos and offerings, or hold a "dumb supper," ( a silent meal with a place set for the dead). I think I may do this for the first time this year.

Samhain is a time to reflect on the past year, release what no longer serves you, and set intentions for the coming New Year.
